Dr. Gianrico Spagnuolo received a D.D.S. degree at University of Naples “Federico II” in 1997. He completed his Ph.D. in Dental Materials Biotechnology in 2002 and earned a post-doctoral fellowship in 2002-2004. In 2003 he had been Visiting Assistant Professor at Department of Operative Dentistry and Periodontology at University of Regensburg (Germany) and from 2006 is Adjunct Scientist at same Dental School. From 2007 to 2008 he was associate researcher at Interdisciplinary Research Centre on Biomaterials (CRIB) - University of Naples “Federico II”. In 2011 he completed the three-year postgraduate program in Oral Surgery at the University of Naples “Federico II”. He recently obtained the National Italian Qualification for Associate (2013-2019) and Ordinary (2014-2020 / 2018-2024) Professor. To date he is Assistant Professor at School of Dentistry - University of Naples “Federico II” spending his time teaching, giving lectures and participating in the faculty practice in Endodontic and Operative Dentistry sections.

Dr. L. De Bartolo is senior research scientist at the Institute on Membrane Technology of the National Research Council of Italy and leads the research area “membrane systems in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine”. Her research is focused on bioartificial membrane systems including membrane bioreactors applied to tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. She is founding member of European and World Federation of Preventive and Regenerative Medicine (WFPRM). She is author of over 150 papers published in international journals/books and encyclopaedia and of 100 presentations to scientific meetings. She received international scientific recognitions as International Fellow by WFPRM and other awards.

Maria G. Castro, PhD, is the R.C. Schneider Professor of Neurosurgery, and Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology, at the University of Michigan Medical School. Her research program focuses on epigenetic regulation of cancer progression, uncovering the role of oncometabolites in the brain tumor microenvironment (TME), and the development of new therapies for adult and pediatric gliomas, including DIPG. She has a demonstrated record of successful and productive research output and project management in an area of high relevance for brain cancer biology and the development of novel therapeutic strategies for primary and metastatic brain tumors.

Prof. Stefania Fulle received her degree in Biological Sciences (1984) from University of Perugia, Italy, and attained the qualification to biologist profession in 1985. Since 2011, Prof. Fulle is Full Professor of Physiology at University “G. d’Annunzio” Chieti-Pescara, Italy. Her major research interests include Stem cells (muscle and bone), Human skeletal muscle (Correlation between Oxidative stress and functional capacity in different physiological and pathological conditions), and Aging and regenerative capacity in muscle and bone. She, as an author/co-author, has published more than 70 articles in various journals, having total number of citations of over 1,975.

Dr. Jadeja obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Zoology from The M.S. University of Baroda, India. Dr. Jadeja completed his postdoctoral trainings at University of Maryland School of Medicine and Medical College of Georgia in the United States. Currently Dr. Jadeja is a faculty member in Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Augusta University, Augusta, GA, USA. He has published more than 50 peer reviewed research and review articles. He is currently an Editorial Board member/Academic editor for journals (total 7) like Antibiotics (MDPI), Journal of Immunology Research and Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity (Hindawi).

Alireza Karimi received the MSc and Ph.D degree in Mechanical Engineering/Bioengineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology and Kyushu University. His primary area of interest is continuum mechanics, soft tissue mechanics, finite element modeling, injury biomechanics, and biomathematics. He also won the Nightingale prize from the International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE) in 2015. He is the author of more than 110 peer reviewed articles in the international scientific journals.

Prof. Jeong Beom Kim completed his Ph.D. thesis in Apr 2009 under the supervision of Hans R. Schöler. He has mainly worked on generating iPS cells from neural stem cells by OCT4 alone. Now, Prof. Kim is focusing on generation of patient specific-stem cell from patient somatic cells at Hans Schöler Stem Cell Research Center (HSSCRC), Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), Korea, as a representative of stem cell research center. His research interests involve patient specific stem cell, direct conversion, induced pluripotent stem cells, stem cells and 3D bioprinting.

Dr. Li obtained his PhD at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, postdoctoral fellowship at Whitehead Institute of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and research fellowship at Harvard Medical School. He is principal investigator at CHOC Children’s Hospital/University of California-Irvine School of Medicine, and adjunct professor of California State University Fullerton and Sun Yat-sen University. He has 149+ publications and 20 U.S.-issued patents. His work is remarked in Nature, Science, Cell, Annual Reviews of Cell and Developmental Biology, with citations of 7,238+. He serves on editorial board of Journals and with membership of ACTS, ISSCR, SfN, ASCB, ASN, ASIP.

Dr. Shigeo Masuda received his MD from the University of Tokyo in 1996, and PhD in Hematology/Oncology from the Graduate School of Medicine, University of Tokyo, Japan. He was an Assistant Professor and an Associate Professor at Jichi Medical University, Japan, from 2007 to 2012, and joined RIKEN CDB in 2011. He studied at the Belmonte Lab in the Salk Institute from 2012 to 2014. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery in Osaka University, Japan. His interest is regenerative medicine using iPS-derived cells, including molecular targeted therapy for iPS-derived undifferentiated cells to improve safety.

Dr. Andrea Pacifici graduated with honors in Dentistry at the University of Rome "La Sapienza": his research field is mainly related to Maxillofacial surgery. PhD in Oral Pathology at the same University. PI of research in dental regeneration: in the last 10 years he gained a huge expertise in regenerative dentistry and biomaterials. Member of the S.I.L.O. (Italian Laser Society in Odontostomatology). He collaborated as grant holder at the Department of Dental and Maxillofacial sciences, "Sapienza" University of Rome. Prof. Luciano Pacifici graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". He obtained the specialization with honors in dentistry at the same University. Associate Professor at the I Faculty of Medicine and Surgery - University of Rome "La Sapienza". 1st level manager at the Department of Odontostomatological Sciences of the Umberto I – General Hospital of Rome. Dr. Eleni Papanikolaou did her B.Sc. (Biology Degree) and PhD. from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Biology, Thessaloniki, Greece during 1995-2003. Her research interests are Development of gene therapy/gene editing approaches, Molecular genetics of inherited diseases and Molecular biology of viruses and/or bacteria. Dr. Albert A. Rizvanov obtained his Ph.D. degree (2003) in Cell and Molecular Biology from University of Nevada, Reno, USA. Then, he received his title of D.Sc. (2010) in Biochemistry from Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, Kazan, Russia. He currently holds various positions (i.e. Head of Center of Excellence “Regenerative Medicine”, Chief Researcher, Professor, and Director of Department of Gene and Cell Technologies) at Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, Russia. His areas of research interest mainly include Gene and stem cell technologies for regenerative medicine, Molecular neurobiology, Molecular virology, and Cancer diagnostics and therapy. Dr. Rizvanov, as an author/co-author, has published more than 240 articles in various journals, having total number of citations of over 1,010.

Jerome Roncalli, MD, PhD completed his medical research training in Feinberg Cardiovascular Research Institute at Northwestern University in Chicago, under Professor Douglas Losordo. Prof. Roncalli serves as Director of the Heart Failure Unit in the Department of Cardiology at the University Hospital of Toulouse, France. He also serves as the Assistant Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory since 2008. Prof. Roncalli is a member of the French and the European Society of Cardiology. His major research is focused in interventional cardiology, heart failure, tissue repair/ regeneration, angiogenesis/vasculogenesis and progenitor/ adult stem cells. He is currently a Professor of Cardiology at the Purpan School of Medicine and coordinator of the CARDIOMET Institute in Toulouse.

Dr. Asmat Salim is currently involved in the study of differentiation mechanisms of bone marrow derived stem cells into cardiac micro-environment both in vitro and in vivo. This includes stem cell isolation, propagation, identification and transplantation into the infarcted heart and determination of their fate by functional analysis. The in vitro analysis includes studies related to fusion of different cell types in culture and analysis of the fused cells. Her research group also works on stem cell differentiation into renal and pancreatic beta cells following kidney injury and type 1 diabetes, respectively.

Dr. Kiminobu Sugaya (Ph.D.) is a professor of medicine in Burnett School of Biomedical Science, College of Medicine, University of Central Florida (UCF). He is a Chair of Multidisciplinary Neuroscience Alliance in UCF and a Chair of Central Florida Chapter of Society for Neuroscience. He published more than 200 papers and some of them were reported by Washington Post, BBC, NBC, ABC and other media in all over the world. Dr. Sugaya is also a founder and a chair of Progenicyte, which is a biotech company holding his 67 patent licensed from UCF.

Affiliated Member of Brazilian Academy of Sciences. Alexander is a professor at the Pathology Department of the Biological Sciences Institute of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He holds a bachelor's degree in Biomedicine from the Santa Cruz State University (UESC) (2005-2009), a PhD in Neuroscience from Wake Forest University, North Carolina, United States (2010-2014) and a postdoc in Cell Biology from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York, United States (2014-2016). Dr. Islam Mohamed Saadeldin obtained his Ph.D. degree (2012) in Veterinary Medicine (Molecular Reproduction) from Seoul National University, South Korea. Since Apr 2016, Dr. Saadeldin is Assistant Professor in the Department of Animal Production, College of Food and Agricultural Sciences, at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His skills and expertise mainly lie in the subject areas of Transfection, Biotechnology, Gene Regulation, Reproductive Medicine, Microscopy, Cells, Reproductive Biology, mRNA Expression, and Reproductive Endocrinology.
